What's New with JetBlue - April 30

What's New with JetBlue - April 30

This week in JetBlue news - change-ups in corporate structure, more giving back to the community, yet another update to the TSA Pre✓™ program, and more!

Changes in Corporate Structure

JetBlue's Chief Operating Officer leaves the company, with President Robin Hayes taking over the leadership for the time being. Is this outflow of a top exec meaningful, or a one off?

Meanwhile, recently the JetBlue pilots have voted to join a union. After passing up the chance two times before, they have finally voted to join one. Word is that other JetBlue employees are considering unionizing as well. This will of course lead to higher costs - will it lead to higher airfare too?

More TSA Enhancements

In addition to being able to print your Pre✓™ boarding pass from home, the kiosk, or via an agent at the airport, you can now add your frequent traveler number to your TrueBlue profile to have your tickets automatically marked as Pre✓™ qualified if you're in the program. It's once less step to making prepping for your flight easier.

Inspiring Blue-manity

As always, JetBlue is at it again. They recently sent a ton of supplies down to Haiti now that they service Port Au Prince. 15 crew members handed out the thousands of supplies as an effort to improve the living situation, in addition to JetBlue sponsoring a clean water well project down there. Check out the video for some highlights of their efforts:
