JetBlue Bill of Rights

True Customer Care

One of the best parts about JetBlue, besides the awesome in flight perks, cool company culture, and affordable tickets is their dedication to customers via their Bill of Rights. JetBlue established a guidelines so that when unforeseen circumstances arise you can know exactly what to expect. This is especially important with all of the recent delays and cancellations in the northeast with the snowstorms and vortexes.

JetBlue Bill of RIghts

Frankly, I could write a summary of the Bill of Rights, but the document itself is succinct and at only one page long doesn't contain a whole lot of filler. It's main sections cover many issues that frequent travelers experience: cancellations, delays, arrival delays, departure delays, in-flight entertainment, and overbookings.

Almost any unreasonable delay past an hour results in financial compensation and if your flight doesn't have the promised 36 channels of Direct TV, you're entitled to a $15 voucher. Most delays greater than an hour have a specific clause for how JetBlue can make it up to you ranging from free in flight movies to free round trip credits. A lot of other airlines have complicated and complex delay and cancellation schedules, but thankfully JetBlue keeps it simple and direct - helpful for everyone. It hasn't been revised since 2012, which means the document is fairly static and isn't likely to change often. This is key when knowing what to expect when your flight's status goes south instead of the plane.

Just another reason why it feels great to be a TrueBlue customer.
